2 october 2017 "Tengis" Restaurant will represent Buryat cuisine at the Russian gastronomic week 2017 in Cyprus!
This year the Russian gastronomic week will be held in the Nicosia and Limassol cities in November 13 to 17. The large-scale project is implemented with the assistance of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation and is officially supported by the Russian Embassy in the Republic of Cyprus, Rostourism, the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation, and the Rossotrudnichestvo office.
The goal of the project is to strengthen cultural and business ties, expand tourist flows between the participating countries, as well as to demonstrate the opportunities of the regions, the specifics of the national cuisine. The first Russian gastronomic week was held in Madrid in 2015, the second one was in Madrid and Barcelona in 2016. This event received the highest reviews from the Secretary-General of the United Nations World Tourism Organization.
The business program includes an exhibition of gastronomic routes, tourism, food and beverage producers. Four Seasons Hotel Limassol will be the main venue for the event. Chefs from different regions of Russia, including "Tengis" restaurant, will organize master classes and dinners.
The week ends with a gastronomic gala dinner of Russian cuisine, where a team of chefs from Russia will showcase their culinary masterpieces.
