"Buryatia" Hotel for the third consecutive year became another stop for the ultra-marathon cycle road race Red Bull Trans-Siberian Extreme 2017. Participants cycling along the legendary Trans-Siberian Railway. This is the longest bicycle race in the world, athletes will overcome about 9,349 kilometers in 24 days.
The race passes through cities: Nizhny Novgorod, Kazan, Perm, Yekaterinburg, Tyumen, Omsk, Novosibirsk, Krasnoyarsk, Irkutsk, Ulan-Ude, Chita, Svobodny, Khabarovsk and finishes on August 10 in Vladivostok. Participants will have to cross 5 climatic and 7 time zones, and spend more than three weeks in the saddle.
Sportsmen arrived in Ulan-Ude late in the evening on August 1, and at 12:00 on August 2 they again set off from Soviets Square.
